Bava Dhillon is Cree and East Indian, with his Indigenous roots planted in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation. Mr. Dhillon graduated from Red River College (Business) and is part-owner and Vice President of Dhillon Automotive Group, the first Treaty Owned Dealership in Canada.

As a Councillor in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation, Mr. Dhillon knows first-hand the importance of better access to health support in First Nation communities across Manitoba. He knows that solutions to issues from addiction to diabetes start with proper access to support. Mr. Dhillon believes through community-led healing initiatives; health and harmony can be restored to Indigenous People, for the benefit of everyone.

Dr. Premal Patel

Dr. Patel is an Assistant Professor and Urologist within the Department of Surgery at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Patel completed his Fellowship training at the University of Miami in Male Reproduction, Microsurgery & Sexual Medicine. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Calgary and his Urology Residency at the University of Manitoba.

As a physician who provides urologic care for patients across Manitoba, Dr. Patel has seen first hand how important access to routine care is.

Kris Allen

BSc. Micro., BSc Pharm., RPh – Co-Founder

Kris is a practicing pharmacist who holds active pharmacist licenses in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Always having been a forward thinker in health care, Kris envisions great potential with Sabe Wellness to make a positive impact on our health care system and how it is currently delivered to underserviced, rural, and remote communities. He firmly believes that Sabe Wellness will play an integral role in changing how health care is currently delivered to these communities and changing health care forever as a whole, not only within Manitoba but Canada-wide.

Kris – also a pharmacy owner – owns Stafford Pharmacy, which has the ability to offer distant care pharmacy services to any patient or community in need of prescription services.

Alysha Buck

BSc Pharm, RPh, Co-Founder

Alysha is a practicing pharmacist with over 15 years’ experience in urban, rural and remote locations throughout Manitoba who has held roles in community pharmacy management, corporate leadership, and clinical service provision.

Having grown up in Northern Manitoba and travelled throughout Canada, Alysha appreciates the importance of culturally appropriate care and holistic health approaches. She believes in equitable access to essential and expanded health services.

Alysha lives in Winnipeg with her husband, teenage son and puggle and enjoys reading, baking and playing ukulele in her free time.
